Emberex is looking for a full-time administrative assistant to join our team in downtown Eugene, OR.
We are a software company specializing in the development of web and mobile applications. We’re looking for someone who can fit in with our unique blend of personalities, while acting as the professional face of our company when interacting with clients, visitors, and a steady stream of telemarketers and robo-calls.
When you’re not politely guarding our team from unwanted phone calls, you’ll be involved in a bunch of other activities. Here’s what you need to know:
- You’ll need to do some stuff on a computer - Google Docs, MS Excel, and more. You may have some things to learn, but you need to be comfortable with technology.
- You must have reliable transportation - part of your job will be buying lots of snacks for our team and running other errands.
- We like to have fun company events - wine tours, ski/snowboard trips, happy hours, tailgates, and more. You’ll help with the planning and organizing, and we hope you’ll enjoy them as much as we do.
- Somebody has to keep our office in good enough shape that we’re not embarrassed to show our parents where we work - and that person is you. There are already people who take out the garbage and vacuum the floors and stuff like that, but we’ll want you to help us make sure nobody mistakes our office for a dorm room.

If we hire you, your starting wage will be $16/hr, and we’ll expect you to work weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
