THE CHALLENGE
Obtaining necessary equipment can be a significant challenge for people with disabilities, creating barriers to independence and well-being. Financial constraints often pose a major hurdle, as specialized mobility aids and assistive devices can be prohibitively expensive. Limited availability and distribution in certain regions further exacerbate the problem, leaving individuals without access to suitable options. These challenges highlight the urgent need for innovative solutions and support systems to ensure equitable access to essential equipment for people with disabilities.

THE PROCESS
Guided by principles of inclusive design, the interface is designed to be accessible and user-friendly. Browsing functionality is streamlined, enabling users to search for equipment based on their specific needs and preferences, with clearly organized categories and filtering options. To simplify the borrowing process, intuitive reservation and loan request features are implemented, ensuring a seamless experience for users with diverse abilities.
E-COMMERCE
Clear and intuitive design elements allow users to browse available equipment with ease. Each item’s availability status is prominently displayed, helping users quickly identify and select items of interest. The straightforward checkout process enables users to easily reserve and borrow the equipment they need. If an item is unavailable, users can join a waitlist, ensuring a smooth borrowing process once items become available.
